We are having another open house on Saturday. Has a month really gone by since our last one? I can’t believe how quickly the time goes!!!
Saturday at 10 am we will open our doors to our beautiful blushing brides to be so that they can sample cakes, check our books for ideas, ask us questions, and learn more about the Food Network Challenge stars that are going to make their cakes.
The Cake Chicks have done it again. After hours of hard work, and lots of giggles and fun, we won the Amon Carter 50th anniversary cake contest.

As many of the classic rock bands have proved, there is no age restriction on rocking. We know that, and so do our clients. We are making a pink guitar cake for a four year old this week. We are gonna keep in touch with her so that we can make all of her cool cakes when she grows up and becomes a famous pop star!!
Just remember, that we started it all with a awesome, rockin’ guitar birthday cake.
Amon Carter Museum is celebrating its 50th birthday. And we all know that you cannot have a good birthday party without cake. Amon Carter Museum has invited us to participate in their cake competition. Make sure that you come out and vote for our great cake! The museum is going to extend their hours until 9 pm so you have no excuse not to go. It will take place on August 13th and there will be hotdogs and ice cream, photo booths, bubbles and hula hoops! Who doesn’t love looking at beautiful wedding photos? Check out our Facebook page for pictures of all of our beautiful cakes. We have a bunch of really great cakes going out this weekend. We will have a Dr. Who cake for all of you SCI-FI fans, as well as a cut and carved horned frog. They both should be very cool cakes! Keep up with us to see how they turned out!!
Last weekend we had some beautiful cakes, as always. Not to brag on myself or anything, but our cakes keep getting better and better and we love working with our beautiful blushing brides. Last weekend, Laura Stickland had a beautiful cake at her wedding. Keep checking our facebook, since pictures will be coming soon! Also, a HUGE thanks to DFW events for working with us on this event.
We are VERY excited to be participating in the tablescapes and trends event at the City Club. This is coming up on August 4th so make sure that you are there! We will have a great set up, along with some of our other favorite vendors. It is a great event to go to, so be sure not to miss out!
